Our platform helps swine breeders maintain accurate records and access quality breeding stock to improve the local pig industry.
PSBR SWINE REGISTRATION
The Philippine Swine Breed Registry (PSBR) helps breeders maintain quality and traceability of swine breeds in the Philippines through official registration services. Accredited Swine Breeders Alliance of the Philippines Inc. can register their litters and performance-tested pigs, then request certificates to document their animals’ lineage and performance.
Parent Registration (PR)
Pre-register your breeding stock before mating and farrowing occurs.
- Up to 5 days to complete
- Must be a purebred breeder pig (boars/sows)
Litter Pedigree Registration (LPR)
Register your litter and their parents to get a Pedigree Certificate
- Up to 18 days to complete
- For litters as early as day old
Purebred Performance Tested Pig Registration (PPTR)
Register performance-tested animals to get a Purebred Pig Certificate
- Up to 10 days to complete
- For animals up to 5 months old
- Must already have litter pedigree registration
SBFAP (Swine Breeder Farm Accreditation Program)
SBFAP is the DA-BAI’s Swine Breeder Farms Accreditation Program, which aims to assure the distribution of quality swine genetics by certifying, accrediting, and promoting the sources of quality breeders.
The program has two main objectives:
(1) to identify, accredit and promote swine farms with quality genetics and improved breeder stock; and
(2) to sustain the advanced status of the swine industry by ensuring the availability and distribution of good quality breeder stock particularly among backyard farmers.
