Acceptable Use Policy
PHILIPPINE SWINE BREED REGISTRY (PSBR) ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the acceptable use of the services, systems, and platforms provided by the Philippine Swine Breed Registry (PSBR). All users accessing or interacting with the PSBR platform agree to adhere to this policy to maintain a secure, fair, and lawful environment for all users.
By accessing, using, or interacting with PSBR services, you agree to comply with the provisions of this policy.

I. Who is Covered by this Policy?
This policy applies to all users of the PSBR platform, including but not limited to:
- Breeder Members
- Approvers
- Evaluators
- Administrators
- Genomics Users
- Guest Users
Collectively referred to as “PSBR Users.”
II. Acceptable Use Guidelines
PSBR Users are required to use the platform in a manner that respects the rights of others and complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. The following are unacceptable uses of the PSBR platform:
Illegal Activities
Engaging in or promoting illegal activities, including but not limited to fraud, misrepresentation, and intellectual property infringement, is prohibited.
Data Integrity and Security Violations
Attempting to access, alter, or delete other users’ personal data or any information without proper authorization is strictly prohibited. Users must not introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code to the platform.
Unauthorized Access
Accessing any part of the PSBR system not intended for the user’s role (e.g., unauthorized access to administrative or restricted areas) is prohibited.
Impersonation and Misrepresentation
Users must not impersonate other individuals or entities, including PSBR staff, evaluators, or other breeders, or misrepresent the origin of communications or data.
Harassment or Discrimination
Users must not engage in harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or offensive behavior against any individual or group based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or other protected characteristics.
Unlawful or Harmful Content
Users must not upload or share content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful to the PSBR platform or its community.
Spamming or Unsolicited Communications
Users must not send unsolicited communications, advertisements, or spam to others through the PSBR platform.
III. Responsibilities of PSBR Users
PSBR Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform is in compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy. Specifically:
Accuracy of Information
Users must ensure that the information they provide is accurate, truthful, and up-to-date.
Respect for Privacy
Users must respect the privacy and confidentiality of others’ personal information. Users must not disclose or share personal data of other individuals without proper authorization.
Reporting Violations
Users must promptly report any suspected breaches of security, unauthorized access, or misuse of the platform to PSBR.
IV. Consequences of Violating this Policy
Violating this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of access to the PSBR platform, in addition to any legal action that may be deemed necessary. PSBR reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate to enforce this policy, including:
Temporarily or permanently disabling user accounts
Reporting violations to relevant authorities
Taking legal action where applicable
V. Modifications to the Acceptable Use Policy
PSBR reserves the right to modify or update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users through the PSBR platform, and the updated policy will take effect immediately upon publication.
